Helpful tips for planning large scale events.

Think carefully about the both the kind of food you want served at your big event, as well as about the way in which you want it presented. These two factors will influence not only the overall 'image' created by your event, but also the length of the event and the way it 'flows'.

For example, are you looking for an elegant atmosphere, a more eclectic style or a more relaxed and casual feel? Do you want people to mingle or to stay seated? Would you prefer finger food, such as canapes, or do you want a full sit down meal served either buffet style, or as an individual plated guest service?

Similarly, think about the kind of venue you want to use for your event as this, too, can affect your catering options. Some venues are better suited for a sit down style of service, while others work better with less formal catering options.
